20-21 Selection Process

The following format will be followed by all organizations throughout New York State.

June 1- June 10 teams may offer commitments to players for birth years 2007, 2006, and 15O, 16U and 18U teams.
June 11 - June 30 teams may offer commitments to players for 2011, 2010, 2009 and 2008 teams.
July1 - All rosters are frozen. New players cannot be added until approved tryouts occur as detailed below.
Players that sign a commitment cannot not be cut from the team and may not move to another team until after the conclusion of the 2020-21 season.
Teams that do not fill their rosters by June 30th may hold tryouts to fill remaining spots at a later date when allowed by state guidelines and approved by NYSAHA.
No tryouts, meetings, workouts or other in-person activities will occur during this sign up time. The earliest anticipated dates for on-ice tryouts would be late July, but this is subject to change.
