NICK PAGLIACCI JOINS UTICA JUNIOR COMETS COACHING STAFF

Utica, NY –The Comets named Nick Pagliacci the new head coach for the Premier Junior Comets and Assistant Coach of the NCDC Junior Comets of the USPHL today.

 

Pagliacci, 28, hails from Buffalo, New York, enters his fourth season coaching at the Junior Level. Last season, he was Assistant Coach and Director of Scouting for the Elmira Junior Enforcers USPHL Premier Team. Pagliacci, who earned a scholarship to play college hockey at Lindenwood University. He received a degree in Business Administration with an emphasis on Sports Management.

 

“I am excited to join the Utica Comets organization. Utica has a rich history of developing players and moving them onto the next level,” said Pagliacci. “Going through the interview process it quickly became apparent to me that the organization truly cares about every player who comes through the program and wants to get all of them to the next level. Their vision matches my goals as a coach which is why Utica was the perfect fit for me.”

With his coaching acumen and experience, we feel he will help our team to further success going forward,” said Louis Educate, head coach of NCDC.  “Nick has an incredible passion for coaching. From talking to him, it was obvious he was the right person for the job because of his desire to win and develop players for the next level.”

 

Pagliacci replaces Shawn Lynch, who went on to become an assistant coach with the Lake Forrest College.
