Jr. Comets U12 Girls Team Advances to States

The Utica Jr. Comets 12U Girls Team earned the Central section’s bid to New York State Amateur Hockey Association Tier 2 State Tournament, taking a pair of games against the Ithaca Shooting Stars. 

A young Comets roster, comprised of eleven first-year players, including three underage 2013-birth year players, has relied on a balanced offensive attack, strong goaltending, and a commitment to structured two-way play.

The Comets open tournament play on Friday, March 1 in Amherst against Team Long Island, and also face the Adirondack 46ers and Buffalo Bison in preliminary round competition.
