JR COMETS SIGN OLDRICH MATEJKA TO NCDC TENDER AGREEMENT

The Utica Jr. Comets are excited to announce the signing of defenseman Oldrich Matejka to an NCDC player agreement. The 2001 defenseman from Prague, Czech Republic recently completed his first season of junior hockey with the Tottenham Steam of the Greater Metro Hockey League in Ontario.  The 6-3, 180-pound defenseman recorded 29 points (14-15-29) in 34 games with the Steam this season.

“We are very excited to welcome Oldrich to the Jr. Comets. His vision, size, and skating ability make him an exciting addition,” commented Head Coach Paul Kelly.
