JOHANSSON NAMED NCDC GOALTENDER OF THE WEEK

The United States Premier Hockey League annuonced today that Utica Jr. Comets goalie Isak Johansson was named NCDC Goaltender of the Week for the week ending November 12.

Johansson (‘00/Marsta, Sweden) has been behind all of the Jr. Comets’ five straight wins. He helped the Jr. Comets to a sweep this past weekend of the South Shore Kings, stopping 79 of 83 shots faced over the weekend. 

He has a .925 save percentage overall, although he is at .946 over his last five appearances.
